A totally chocolatey surprise!

This weekend marked the first time we’d had a guest staying with us who was celebrating a special birthday!  They had requested something chocolatey so Vicky got busy in the kitchen to conjure-up something special . . . . . .  and here is the result!

 Now you can’t get more chocolatey than that – chocolate sponge, white chocolate butter-cream filling, and a white, milk and dark chocolate marble top.  In actual fact the only non-chocolate element was the toasted almond edging!

Whilst the guests polished off the majority of the cake we managed to sneak a taster – chef’s privilege!
