Spring is in the air!

As the Grand Massif ski season comes to a close the summer activities are now commencing.  The weather in Samoëns was amazing this weekend so we took to two wheels and cycled along the Giffre River to Sixt Fer A Cheval taking in some breath-taking scenery along the way – the beautiful blue hues of the glacial water as it cascades over the rapids along its route, waterfalls falling from the steep valley sides into the river below and a stunning narrow sided ravine just before you enter Sixt. Having travelled extensively I would put the scenery on a par with some of the amazing sights you see in New Zealand.

We stopped alongside the river in Sixt to bask in the sun and enjoy our packed lunch before heading back to the chalet in time for afternoon service.

Come and experience Samoëns for yourself.  Chalet APASSION is open year round and from the end of April we will be offering luxury accommodation on a B&B basis with evening meals an optional extra.  You can sample the full ‘Evening APASSION’ with canapés and 3 course evening meal or a more simple two course meal, both accompanied by beer and/or wine.  Full pricing and availability can be found on our website www.apassion.com or call us on +33 4 50 18 68 33 or +44 7884 475414 or email robandvicky@apassion.com.
